 Business Development Manager

 The Job

The Business Development Manager will have the ownership of the Enterprise and Partnership market segments. The person will be responsible for helping build our brand recognition and growing market share through promoting our full range of products to the assigned market segments. Working closely with the delivery teams to build and develop appropriate strategies to target potential clients.


The Responsibilities:

  • Understand the assigned market segments and build an end-to-end acquisition funnel & strategy to grow our business.
  • Work closely with the partnerships team to acquire business from various government partnerships events & communities.
  • Work closely with the Enterprise team and support our in-house experts to ensure the delivery of quality services to our Enterprise clients.
  • Bring in clients via high level sales activities & extensive networking. Adopt consultative sales approach in selling our off-the shelf and customised solutions to prospects who are holding Senior Management and Human Resources positions.
  • Formulate Account plans for all major accounts which include identified upselling opportunities, key stakeholders & action plan with timeline.
  • Supports identifying future market trends, developments/product/service expectations and translates them into business growth opportunities.
  • Participate and hands-on in operations & merchant acquisition activities.
  • Work with Marketing team to plan and execute marketing plan for the assigned market segments.
  • Monitor the clients’ satisfaction level and provide to the company any client’s feedback on how we can enhance our service.


The Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in any field
  • At least 5 to 10 years of proven sales experiences in solution selling to large corporate and multinational organizations
  • Preferably Managers specializing in Sales and Business Development
  • Demonstrate the leadership skill to lead and drive successful sales strategies
  • Skilled negotiator with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and possess aggressive sales personality in achieving quantitative results
  • Able to work with interdepartmental teams by respecting individual differences and work under pressure and deliver results
  • Must be analytical, organized, good communication presentation skills, including critical thinking
  • Fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia language skills
  • Ability to express ideas concisely and clearly, orally and in writing
